AN Army regiment will parade through a North-East town in the autumn.
The Scots Guards have a gathering every two years, and the Durham and Yorkshire branch will host the celebrations on September 5, 6 and 7.
The regimental band and the pipes and drums of the 1st battalion of the Scots Guards will march through Darlington on Saturday, September 6.
The parade will leave at 11.30am from Bondgate Methodist Church, along Bondgate, Northgate and into High Row where the Mayor and Mayoress of Darlington will take the salute.
The band will stop at the market cross, where they will play for 15 minutes.
