THE weather may have been indifferent at the Great Yorkshire Show but barman Matthew Weller was helping to raise spirits.
He created a cocktail just for the event and gave show director Christopher Hall a lesson in how to make it.
The cocktail - the Yorkshire Dream - marked the sponsorship of the show's country pursuits area by The Yorkshire, formerly Harrogate's Imperial Hotel, where Mr Weller is head barman.
For those who want to try it at home, a Yorkshire Dream consists of vodka, blue curacao, midori melon and sour mix. It is served in a 12oz martini glass, garnished with a cherry.
