A SPORTS and gala day held by factory workers in Barnard Castle raised more than £2,000 for charity.
The event, which took place at the GlaxoSmith-Kline factory, was in aid of Butterwick and St Teresa's hospices.
Mountain bike stuntman Jez Avery performed at the gala and children were able to examine a fire engine.
