CHILDREN from County Durham will be donning masks from the past to help celebrate National Archaeology Day.
Durham County Council's Clayport Library is running a masks and mosaic craft session on Saturday, July 19, for youngsters aged from five to 12.
Library staff will help older children create three dimensional masks, favoured by ancient warriors, while younger participants will help create a seahorse shaped mosaic.
Materials are provided and the sessions start at 2pm in the meeting room. Tickets £1 are available by calling 0191-386 4003.
