WORK to upgrade the surfaces of several Hartlepool roads will get under way next week.
Hartlepool Borough Council will carry out surface improvements to nine roads in the town, and work is expected to last three days.
"This work is part of the council's ongoing maintenance programme," said Russell Thompson, of the council.
The areas that will be affected are Kilmarnock Road, Fulthorpe Avenue, Chatham Road, Brierton Lane (west of Masefield Road), Miller Crescent, Maxwell Road (between Owton Manor Lane and Fenton Road), Dorchester Drive, West View Road (between Easington Road and Winterbottom Avenue) and Mainsforth Terrace (between Church Street and Havelock Street).
