YOUTH FOOTBALL: The Rohm and Haas JOC Hetton Youth League will have at three new clubs when the season starts next month. Although Lambton Street have resigned, Red House CA, Willington and Trimdon have joined. Chairman Alan Langley reports that there is a possibility of a fourth newcomer. Any club interested in joining is asked to contact Mr Langley on (0191) 5364853.

DARTS: The Richmond and District League annual meeting will be held on Friday, July 25, at the Board Inn, Richmond, starting at 8.15pm. Interested teams, old and new, must be represented at this meeting.

Any items to be discussed under any other business must be sent in writing or by e-mail to the secretary, on or before July 18.

YOUTH FOOTBALL: Fishburn Boys are looking for new players in two ages groups.

They require players in all positions for next season's Under-14s team and all players should be aged under 14 on August 1, 2003.

They enjoyed a good season last year as they achieved promotion to the First Division of the Teesside Alliance League by finishing as runners-up.

Fishburn are also on the lookout for fresh blood for their Under-13 side, players for which should be under 13 on August 1.

FOOTBALL: Norton and Stockton Ancients manager Ray Morton has made his first signings of the summer by capturing Billingham-born Mark Hand and James Allen has signed from Wearside outfit Stokesley FC.

Hand was released as an apprentice from Sunderland last season and has been playing for First Division Peterlee, who Norton meet in a friendly on Wednesday, July 30 (7pm) at Station Road.

YOUTH FOOTBALL: Willington Boys Under-17 and Under-18 teams are now holding joint training sessions at the Hall Lane ground of Willington FC on Wednesday evenings (7pm).
