Bedale Town Football Club held its annual presentation evening in the Old Black Swan in bedale last week where awards were presented by the main sponsors Stephen Hall of Hall's Fish and Chips and Peter Grainger of Peter Grainger Kitchens.

The side finished in its highest ever placing in the Teesside League finishing fourth and were runners up in the McMillan Bowl losing a close match to Grangetown Boys Club 1-0 after extra time.

Player of the Season: (1st team) Paul Orton, (Res) Matthew Allison, (A Team) Michael Harding.

Players player of the Season: Marl Chisholm, Shane Parkinson, Lee Harker.

Leading scorer: Wayne Gredzirc, Christopher Garbutt, Adam Melbourne.

Joe Noone Award for Outstanding Achievement: Phil Tuplin.

Young Player of the Season: Matthew Thomas.

At the AGM the following were elected:

Training will commence at BASA on Tuesday July 15 at 7pm followed by a committee meeting at 8.30pm. New and old players welcome to attend.
