AN organisation for elderly people has been launched in Darlington.
Youngsters from Eastbourne School performed at a picnic in Eastbourne Park organised by the Independent Care Sector Transport Group to mark the launch on Friday.
The group has been set up by five care homes in the town to help elderly residents become more mobile.
A wheelchair-accessible bus has been bought for the use of residents.
The care homes are Darlington Manor, Eden Cottage, The Gardens, The Moorlands and Middleton Hall.
