A FARMING couple who founded their own sausage company in Thirsk are celebrating after being signed up as a supplier to almost every major national supermarket chain.
From the end of this month, Manor Born Sausages will be available from Sainsbury's and the Co-op, in addition to Tesco, Morrisons and Asda.
Debbie and Andrew Keeble founded the company in 1999 to add value to their pigs, but they have been able to expand the business into new production facilities and create branding for their products.
Their sausages will now appear in the supermarkets under the new Debbie and Andrew name.
Mrs Keeble said: "When we go to shows people are amazed that we're real people, we're farmers and we're making real sausages."
