AN exhibition featuring an environmental project is on display at Hartlepool Art Gallery.
An artist, photographer and poet have been capturing the Turning the Tide project, which has seen £10m spent on revitalising the coastline from Crimdon to Seaham, County Durham.
Artist Keith Pattison, photographer Robert Soden and poet Katrina Porteous followed the progress of the four-year programme, which involved almost 100 improvement projects along the 18km stretch.
The exhibition is on display in Hartlepool until the end of next month as part of a national tour.
Claire Munroe, Hartlepool Borough Council's marketing officer, said: "The exhibition captures the spirit and process of change along the stretch of coastline.
"Each artist approached the subject from their own unique prospective and the exhibition designer has blended their individual versions into a fascinating collaborative work."
