POLICE are hunting a young man who carried out a knife attack in a workingmen's club.
The attack, described as unprovoked, took place in the club, in the centre of Barnard Castle, County Durham, on Thursday night.
The victim, who has not been named, needed hospital treatment for a wound to the side of his face.
Police described the attacker as between 18 and 20, thin, and 5ft 10in. He wore blue jeans, a navy bomber jacket and navy baseball cap with white lettering on the front.
