CHILDREN had the chance yesterday to experience a healthier lifestyle.
The pupils at Billingham Campus School took part in the first day of a two-day event aimed at urging them to take up more exercise and eat healthier food.
They were visited by a number of organisations, including supermarket chain Tesco and the British Heart Foundation.
The highlight was a visit by the British Gymnastics Team.
Angela Guest, of the school's parent teacher association, who organised the event, said: "We wanted to encourage the youngsters to become healthier and show them some of the ways in which they can."
