A VINTAGE bus ferried passengers between Darlington's Railway Museum and the town's Brick Train sculpture yesterday.
Scores of people hopped aboard the former United company 1949 single-decker bus that featured in ITV's Heartbeat series and was in service in the Richmond and Ripon areas in the 1950s.
At the weekend, Thomas the Tank Engine and friends will visit the museum.
The event, also featuring a bouncy castle and face-painting, takes place between 10am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Entry to the museum on the day will include a ride on Thomas. For more details call (01325) 460532.
