Knaresborough's Festival of Entertainment and Visual Arts will be opened by towncrier Nancy Buckle on Friday, August 8.
The festival, which runs until August 17, will include a towncrier contest on Sunday, August 10, from 2pm to 3pm.
Other events include an art trail and picnic in the park event in the grounds of Knaresborough House on Saturday, August 16, from noon to 5pm. Five bands will perform and admission is free.
Other musical events include The Quarrymen, at the Frazer Theatre, at 8pm on Tuesday, August 12, and Ezio, who will perform at the Frazer, on August 8, at 8.30pm.
