A Ryedale support service for children with special needs and their families has been awarded a £20,000 grant from the Lloyds TSB Foundation.
Ryedale Special Families provides services that include emotional support, crche facilities and a special needs youth group.
Sam Hadaway, manager of the local Lloyds TSB bank, said: "This group does a tremendous amount for the community, helping not just those with disabilities but also recognising that their families need support and care."
