A BRITISH oven-cleaning firm is planning to expand overseas, with the help of a specialist North-East consultancy.
The Franchise Company, of Darlington, is working with Ovenu to push the group into Ireland and mainland Europe.
Its aim is to introduce Ovenu franchises throughout Europe during the next year, and eventually to export the technology to North America and Asia.
Rik Hellewell, director of Ovenu, said: "Ovenu has seen natural progression throughout England and Wales over the last nine years and the logical next step for us is to take the technology overseas, now it has been proven a success in the UK."
Ken Rostron, partner with The Franchise Company, said: "We will be working closely with the Ovenu team over the coming months to help the company manage this growth at a suitable rate, while ensuring it remains focused on its core market in the UK.
