POLICE have made a further appeal for information about the rape of a 23-year-old woman at the weekend.
A spokesman said a man seen at the north end of Newcastle's High Level Bridge from 10.20pm to 10.30pm on Sunday could have information about the incident.
He was believed to be walking with a woman down Cloth Market into St Nicholas Street, before reaching the bridge.
The man was described as 5ft 8in to 5ft 11in, with short brown hair, a chubby face and stocky to fat build. He was wearing a light-coloured shirt and dark trousers, with a link chain around his neck.
