A GO-KARTING teenager with a passion for speed has been given the chance to drive a bigger and better machine.
Daniel Cook, 15, from Scotton, near Catterick Garrison, was approached by Honda to drive one of their single-seater vehicles when he turns 16 later this month.
He is being sponsored by Jedi Racing and Elite Heat, of Darlington, and will take part in his first race near Leicester in October.
"He'll be racing at Silverstone and all those places with the big boys," said his father, Sam. "It's basically like a little Formula One car. We're delighted."
