A man arrested as part of Operation Ore, the trans-Atlantic investigation into child pornography on the Internet, appeared before Harrogate magistrates yesterday.
Oliver Daniel, 43, of the town's Cheltenham Mount, was remanded on bail until August 28. He faces 15 charges of making an indecent photograph of a child.
ROAD CLOSURE: Part of Moor Lane in York, between Chaloner's Road and the Tadcaster Road roundabout, will be closed to traffic from Sunday until Saturday, August 17, for carriageway works to be carried out.
ANIMAL FAIR: The National Animal Sanctuaries Support League will mark its tenth anniversary with a summer fair in Northallerton Town Hall on Saturday, from 9am and 4pm.
