A MAN in his twenties has been found dead in a flat and police are appealing for witnesses to help piece together his last movements.
Emergency services were called to a flat, in Middle Walk area of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, at about 6.35pm on Wednesday, where the body of a man had been found.
A police spokesman confirmed that a man has been arrested and was yesterday being interviewed by officers.
The cause of death is not yet known and police have not released the name of the dead man.
However, investigating officers are seeking help from anyone who may have seen or spoken to the man prior to his death.
They are particularly keen to speak to taxi drivers who may have picked him up from the train station between 5pm and 6.30pm.
He is described as white, in his late 20s, with short brown hair and a goatee beard. He was wearing creamy-beige trousers and a blue and white checked shirt, possibly with the sleeves rolled up.
