PROPOSALS for a £177,000 nature reserve on a Darlington estate have been submitted to planners.
Darlington Borough Council is proposing to turn land at Firthmoor, off Yarm Road, into a nature reserve with recreational and wildlife features.
The plan includes the creation of two fishing ponds, wildlife ponds and footpath and cycle access.
A five-year plan of work has been drawn up.
