POLICE are warning householders not to leave car keys on show after another attempted burglary in Hambleton.
Residents have been urged to put keys out of sight, after an intruder in Sutton-under-Whitestonecliffe, near Thirsk, entered a house and stole keys. Nothing else was taken after the householder disturbed the thief.
Police said there had been two similar incidents in in recent weeks, in Thirsk and Coxwold, where a BMW, a Honda and Mercedes were stolen
