A TEAM of dedicated hospital volunteers have come up trumps again for local people.
Thanks to their generosity, patients visiting orthopaedic ward three at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton, will benefit from four new dynamap machines and an ECG machine.
The equipment, provided by the Friends of the Friarage, will be used to monitor patients' health before they go for their operation and to check on them while they are recovering afterwards.
Sister Jane Bradshaw said: "We very much appreciate the new machines, which will really benefit patient care. We would like to express thanks to the Friends for their generosity and thoughtfulness towards staff and patients."
Clinics, wards and department at the Friarage regularly benefit from the friends' successful fundraising efforts throughout the year
