VICKY Tulloch of Piercebridge has returned from the Trailblazers national show jumping finals at Stoneleigh with a championship under her belt.
She and her horse Dutch Melody won the 1.5m class and finished third in the 95cm class. The pair were the only combination to have a triple clear round, not having a single fence down all weekend.
The 20-year-old Newcastle University student brought the experienced ten-year-old Dutch warmblood over from Holland a year ago and they qualified for the finals at Richmond Equestrian Centre, where the horse is stabled.
The classical studies student is still undecided whether or not to train as a teacher when she qualifies.
"I would like to own my own yard and train young horses," she admitted
