SOAP schemer Joe Carter, alias Coronation Street actor Jonathan Wrather, will reopen a County Durham supermarket next week after its £1m facelift.
The television star will unveil the new-look Kwik Save store, on Watling Road, Bishop Auckland, on Wednesday morning.
He will sign autographs and answer fans' questions from 9am to 9.30pm.
Store manager Ian Forster said: "Our store is among the first to undergo the Kwik Save regeneration process aimed at giving stores across the country a more modern and fresh feel.
"The revamped store has also brought ten jobs to the community, we now employ 48 full and part time staff."
The store features a new greengrocer section, a deli counter and hot food available from a rotisserie
