A MAN has been charged with the attempted murder of a 20-year-old Somali asylum-seeker.
The 42-year-old Dutch national, who will appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court today, has also been charged with an offence under the Immigration Act, Cleveland Police said last night.
His arrest follows an incident in Hartington Road, Stockton, Teesside, on Thursday, when a man was stabbed.
