PLANS have been drawn up to develop a popular wildlife area in Darlington.
Cocker Beck, in Cockerton, will be improved with the creation of wetlands and tree and shrub planting. Water flows will also be improved to maintain water quality.
The move follows a consultation by Darlington Borough Council in February, when residents were asked what improvements they would like to see.
Cocker Beck is noted for its population of water voles.
