SIX young people are celebrating after being chosen to model for a new clothes shop.
The group has already spent an afternoon on a photoshoot at a modelling agency after winning a competition at Thirsk's new shop for teenagers, Mur Mur.
Their pictures now adorn the walls of the shop, in Kirkgate, to entice other youngsters to browse through the range of clothes.
Tracy Marchant entered both her sons, Ben, 16, and Tom, 13, into the competition and they won, along with cousins Robyn and Sara Stapylton, 17.
Robyn, 12, who is blonde with blue eyes, said she loved the photoshoot, in Leeds, but has not let it go to her head.
"I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but not a model I don't think," she said.
All six winners, who also included Bethany Atkinson, 13, and Ellie Kendall, 14, received gift vouchers for the store.
Mur Mur's shop manager Tory Porritt said the competition was very successful, although choosing the winners was a difficult job.
