ONE of the county's finest stately homes is inviting guests to be wined and dined within its stunning surroundings at its most sparkling event this year.
People are being offered the chance to slip into their posh frocks and dinner jackets and go to Castle Howard for an evening in conjunction with Moet Hennessy and Playford Ros.
Following a tour of the Long Gallery and South Front Rooms, guests will be served a four-course meal along with champagne - and cognac to round of the night.
Castle Howard urges champagne-lovers not to miss out on the one-off black tie affair, held on Friday, October 3, from 7.30pm. Places are offered for both individuals and tables but are limited and must be booked. Tickets are priced at £65 per head and include all champagnes.
