A DANCE school has been invited to perform at a London theatre.
Pupils aged six to 19 from the Born to Dance studio will take part in the Children's Variety Show at Her Majesty's Theatre, in Haymarket, on Sunday.
They come from Wear Valley, Sedgefield, Barnard Castle, and Darlington.
Yesterday, 42 girls and one boy, seven-year-old Joshua Bancroft, spent time perfecting their steps at a full dress rehearsal.
School principal Sue Henderson said: "We have done a lot of fundraising to ensure the pupils and their parents can get down there. We have raised just over £3,000."
The pupils will perform three numbers featuring tap, ballet and modern dance.
