AN initiative allowing people to find out more about a range of careers and vacancies in the NHS is launched this month.
NHS Job Shops are being set up throughout the Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale region by the local primary care trust in partnership with the Scarborough and North and East Yorkshire NHS Healthcare Trust.
Visitors will be given the opportunity to talk to NHS staff, pick up NHS careers literature and obtain information about job vacancies.
Job Shops will take place at The Careers Centre, in Scarborough, between 10am and 6pm next Thursday at Whitby Job Centre, between 10am and 4.30pm on Wednesday, September 24, and Ryedale Job Centre, between 10am and 6pm on Tuesday, October 2.
