FITNESS enthusiasts are being invited to pit their skills on the rowing machine against one another.
The Last of the Summer Row challenge begins at Hambleton Leisure Centre in Northallerton today.
Rowers can take part individually or in doubles teams for a series of eight races.
The lowest overall time in each category will win a year's subscription to Ultra Fit magazine.
The promotion is open to anyone over the age of 16 and runs until October 31. To sign up, call at the centre or ring (01609) 777070.
