AN annual charity event takes place at Lewis and Cooper in Northallerton on Sunday, November 2.
Customers pay to enter the store and have a chance to win a hamper and to sample food.
This year, the proceeds of the event, called Pre Noel Day, will be split between the Great North Air Ambulance and Northallerton Amateur Operatics Society.
Tickets are available for £2.50 by calling (01609) 766702 or on the door for £3.
Meanwhile, during British Food Fortnight, from September 20 the store will highlight regional dishes.
