YOUNGSTERS are benefiting from a major investment in their local play area.
The Riverside play facility in Norton, near Malton, has undergone a £24,000 facelift with new equipment and safety surfacing.
The park has new swings and an activity fort, while Ryedale District Council has added new fencing.
"We have made every effort to ensure that the improvements we have provided are what the people want," said community recreation officer Ben Grady.
