PEOPLE with a passion for storytelling or creative writing will be able to hone their talents at a series of workshops held in libraries throughout the county.
The workshops throughout this month and November are being run by Electraglade, which includes writer Chris Firth and storyteller Michael Wray. Their work has already seen them present musical and multi-media literary events at schools and other venues in North Yorkshire.
The recent project is being funded by the Arts Council of England and targets those aged ten or over.
Electraglade will be visiting the following libraries in October: Knaresborough, on Saturday 11, from 2pm until 4pm, call (01423) 863054, Richmond on Saturday 25, from 10.30am until 12.30 and 1pm until 3.30pm, call (01748) 823120, and Scalby, near Scarborough, on Monday 27, from 10am until 1pm and 1.30pm until 4.30pm, call (01723) 365671.
They will also hold a workshop at Norton Library, between 2pm and 5pm, on Saturday, November 8, call (01653) 692960.
