FAMILIES in Newton Aycliffe will be putting on their thinking caps on Saturday as part of a national learning scheme.
Children and parents are invited to attend a Family Learning Taster Day, with workshops on healthy eating, Spanish for beginners and researching family trees.
Staff at The Pioneering Care Centre, Woodham Community Technology College and Greenfield Community and Arts Centre will be attending the event to run thinking games.
The event will run from 10am to 2pm.
Refreshments will be available and there will be a display of learning information.
The event is part of the National Family Learning Weekend.
