A RANGE of activities will be taking place next week to keep children in Derwentside entertained during the half-term holidays.
The Paint, Play and Party scheme, aimed at five to nine-year-olds, is running a different event each day from Monday to Friday. The activities include Halloween lantern-making on Wednesday and a fancy dress disco on Friday. Each event will run in Stanley and Consett.
For older children, there will be trips for rock climbing and indoor skiing. Family outings are planned on Monday and Wednesday and there will be a nature walk on from Consett to Newcastle Quayside on Thursday.
