TWO favourite pantomime characters travelled to a Durham school to give pupils some useful theatrical tips.
Straight from rehearsals of Cinderella - this year's Christmas production at Durham's Gala theatre - Buttons, alias Peewee Price, and Ugly Sister George Kelly conducted a special workshop for students at Deerness Valley Comprehensive in Ushaw Moor.
The theatre workshop was part of a programme of community link ventures which have been devised by the school to provide students with the opportunity of working with professionals from a wide number of fields.
As a follow up to the workshop pupils will attend a performance of Cinderella at the Gala where they will also be invited to take a look behind the scenes.
