AN 11-year-old Darlington singer has been selected to appear in a stage version of the TV show Stars In Their Eyes.
Brittany Knowles, who also won a talent contest in Gateshead's Metroland at the weekend, is a member of Stagecoach Theatre Arts and hopes for a future career on the West End stage. She has been selected from 200 hopefuls to appear with four others in Stars in Their Eyes on the stage, when the audience will pick a winner to go on to star in the TV show.
The Carmel RC Comprehensive School pupil has also reached the finals of two other talent shows this year.
