POLICE are looking for a Sri Lankan man who has gone missing in Hartlepool.
Rajanikanth Sathanantham, 25, has been missing since Saturday, October 11.
The Sri Lankan came to the town in September on a youth exchange programme organised by the Voluntary Services Overseas organisation.
Mr Sathanantham was working at the Belle Vue Community Centre, in Hartlepool, and was living with a host family in Stockton Road when he went missing.
Sergeant Ian Sharp, of Hartlepool police, said: "We have been carrying extensive inquires into his disappearance and these have all been unsuccessful.
"All we are asking is that he contact either the police or his host family to let us know that he is safe and well."
Sgt Sharp can be contacted on (01642) 302565.
