Top scorers of the day came were The Northern Echo who demolished bottom side Copper Beech DCS 13-0.

With the home side six goals up by the break the game was all over in the first 45 minutes with the Copper only able to field ten men they were always going to be up against it, but they showed a fighting spirit that will hopefully see them picking up their first points of the season before too long. With the extra man and the space provided the Echo controlled the game for the full 90 minutes with some excellent passing and movement, but it was Darren Henderson who led the way, as the Echo's leading goalscorer was in top form hitting six goals - a hat-trick in each half, Darren Stanley and Gary Pallas both bagged a brace while Paul Jackson, John Neilson and Jonathan Hewitt with his first goal for the Echo were also on target, the main feature of the game was the Echo being awarded four penalties all converted by different players.

In the game at the top of the division it was Cleveland Bridge who ended Pepper Draughting Services 100 per cent record and kept their own unbeaten run in tact with a 4-1 victory, a couple from Stu Hardy and a goal a piece from Trenton Hewitt and Dave Hubble, proved to much for PDS who were 3-0 down by break, and although they pulled a goal back from Richard Harrison, the point belong to Cleveland Bridge.

Berlins and Hole in The Wall saw the game provide nine goals with Berlins coming out 6-3 winners, while FRA Mowden visited the Royal British Legion and both teams came away with a point as the game finished 3-3 with David Baldwin and two from Trevor Cooke for the home side and Carroll and a couple from Stephen Thompson scoring for the visitors.
