AN organisation set up to support soldiers in the Gulf is appealing for help over Christmas.
The Support Our Soldiers team is about to embark on a nationwide pack and wrap project and intends to send out as many care packages as possible.
Each package will contain seasonal goodies and a small wrapped present for service personnel who are away from their families at the festive period.
More than 1,000 names are on the parcel list and the team is looking for companies to make donations of goods, any small seasonal items or any other product that could be used as a raffle prize.
The cost per package is £10 and cheques made payable to Support Our Soldiers should be sent to: SOS, PO Box 70, SHIPLEY, West Yorkshire BD18 1YE.
