PROPERTY development and investment company Terrace Hill Group has completed its first major residential investment deal on Tyneside with a £4.61m transaction.
The acquisition of Sallyport House, in City Road, Newcastle, gives Terrace Hill 43 freehold apartments in a prime quayside location with views over the river.
The Terrace Hill Group owns a substantial property portfolio of approximately 650 residential properties, the majority of which are in Scotland.
Mandy Kelly, Terrace Hill director, said: "Terrace Hill owns a number of properties in Glasgow and there are many similarities between Glasgow and Newcastle. We have been closely following the commercial development of Newcastle - particularly the Quayside area - and are impressed by its scale and quality.
"So when we had the opportunity to buy Sallyport House, we seized it with both hands.
