MORE than 3,000 graduates from the University of Teesside are receiving their degrees, diplomas and certificates at Middlesbrough Town Hall, from today.
This year's honorary graduates are Middlesbrough-born former football legend Brian Clough, who becomes a Doctor of Science; newsreader Shiulie Ghosh (Master of Arts), who was educated in the Tees Valley; opera singer Suzannah Clarke (Master of Arts), who was born in Middlesbrough; Judge Peter Fox (Doctor of Laws), the Senior Circuit Judge and Recorder of Middlesbrough; and Professor Derek Fraser (Doctor of Laws), former Vice-Chancellor of the university.
