A CORNER shop has won a national title for its expert knowledge of the public's love of snacks.
The Spa store in Belmont High Street has been named Snack Retailer of the Year at the Asian Trader Awards.
The shop beat thousands of stores nationwide to win the award and came out of a rigorous judging procedure with flying colours.
It was awarded the accolade for the range of products it stocked and the service staff provided.
Store owner, Ram Sundavadra said: "Our store is a vital part of the Belmont High Street, and the whole team works together to provide the local community with the products and services they really want."
Mr Sundavadra said they would not be resting on their laurels, and now aimed to develop the store further and introduce new products.
