AN entire school had a taste of ancient Indian culture, when pupils took part in a dance workshop.
Sanchita Banerjee, from the London-based Annapurna Dance Company, visited Bournmoor Primary School, near Chester-le-Street last week, when she taught children Indian dance.
The visit was organised by Durham and Sunderland's arts education agency, The Forge, based at Aykley Heads, Durham, as part of the Small World, Big Dream multicultural festival.
