Knaresborough won the final match on court to seal the downfall of Thirsk in the quarter-final.
The Knaresborough side clinched the tie when James Lambley defeated Steve Whiteley 6-9 10-9 8-9 9-6 9-2 in a storming fightback.

Knaresborough will play winners of the Harrogate Squash v Bedale clash being played on December 18.
Also booking their place in the semi-final were Pateley Bridge who edged out Northallerton 3-2.
Scores (Pateley names first): Steve Ball lost to Keith Johnson 1-5, Ball retired injured; Steve Terry beat Trish Kochaniec 9-4 9-3 9-10 3-9 9-6; Chris Lennox beat Chris Hill 9-3 9-2 9-1; Dave Mann lost to Peter Pinkney 7-9 9-6 9-5 4-9 5-9; Bill Hannay beat Barry Routledge 6-9 9-3 9-0 9-0.
Pateley now face Wensleydale who defeated RAF Leeming 3-2.
Robert Dent, Iain Garth and Richard Phillips won the match for Wensleydale. George Webster and Phil Hopkins were the Leeming victors.
In the B competition quarter finals Catterick Garrison beat Thirsk 5-0. Ryan Barton, Jason Hughes, Peter Luard, Tim Jones and Gary Johnson took Catterick through.
Wensleydale B defeated Harrogate Squash D 3-2.
Wensleydale winners were Dave Booth, James Iveson and John Chilton. Karen Leake and Ian Simmons took the rubbers for Harrogate.
