Jesmond Parish Church scored two goals from Chris Wells and Andy Watson in the first ten minutes before Andy Barrie pulled a goal back for Airport Church just before half time.

Airport piled on the pressure in the second half but never recovered from the first ten minutes as Andy Widdrington scored on the final whistle for Jesmond to win 3-1.

Steve Rob and Mark Davison scored for Jesmond Athenians, in the second half a pair from Barry Ward squared the match at 2-2 for Saint Peter's Low Fell. Within minutes Ian Tew restored Athenians lead and held on to win 3-2.

Ryton Churches traveled to Heworth Christian Fellowship and collected three points and a 5-0 win with goals from Chris Barkless (2) Dean Swanston, Michael McKenna and Graeme Dixon.

In the First Division Bethshan remain undefeated in their last match for 2003 but it took until the last ten minutes to record another win, Chris Thompson opened the scoring against Whitley Bay Churches and Andrew Allister sealed the win.

Yarm Emmanuel opened a 3-1 lead at half time at Saint John's Snods Edge and went on to win 7-3 with Marc Dale (2), Tim Boyes, Andy Bell, Chris Wilkinson and Ben Laing on the scoresheet. Peter Cockburn (2) and Ray Wilkinson scored for the Saints.

With League leaders Youth Ministry in Division two having a free week it enabled City Church Newcastle to make some ground up. Playing at against rivals Heaton Hearts on the pitch they share, Phil Lay give City the lead late in the match but Heaton's leading scorer K Rama scored at the death to share the points in a 1-1 draw.

Whitley Bay Baptist Church, having been in the league for three seasons, are having their most successful season. An own goal sent them on their way against Hope House Church Sunderland. After the break Jeff Gibson got two goals with Garth Ludlow also netting. Michael Battlet scored twice for Hope House to no avail as Bay won 4-2.

Middlesbrough Baptist's are also having a good season just behind Bay on goal difference; they notched six against Bethshan Athletic with an own goal from Andy Charleton. Followed by John Rhodes, Kevin
