A teenager's victory in the final heralded a "new generation" of title holders.
Adam Nowakowski of Harrogate Squash Club upset the seedings to defeat club colleague Simon Myring 5-9 5-9 9-7 9-5 9-1.
Nowakowski, who was dubbed the 'Comeback Kid' after a startling comeback, was behind in the third game before his challenge took off, He finished strongly in the deciding game to take the title for the first time.
Earlier, the fourth seeded youngster came through the semi-final beating Chapel Allerton's Ian Cawthorne, the top seed 2-9 10-8 9-6 9-0.
In the B Group final David Duncalf, brother of England international Jenny, defeated Matt Wood (Otley) 3-2 in a cliff-hanging finish.
Results: Group A Semi Finals: Simon Myring (Harrogate) beat Bob Peacock (Harrogate) 9-3 9-2 6-9 9-3; Adam Nowakowski (Harrogate) beat Ian Cawthorne (Chapel Allerton) 2-9 10-8 9-6 9-0.
Final: Nowakowski beat Myring 5-9 5-9 9-7 9-5 9-1.
Group B Semi Finals: David Duncalf (Harrogate) beat Simon Robinson (Boroughbridge) 9-7 9-3 9-4; Matt Wood (Otley) beat Adam Hughes (Harrogate) 1-9 9-3 7-9 9-3 9-4.
Final: Duncalf beat Wood 4-9 2-9 9-4 9-2 10-9.
Group C Semi Finals: Andy McMillan (Knaresborough) beat Phil Strong (Boroughbridge) 9-7 9-8 9-1; Chris Lennox (Pateley Bridge) beat Martyn Wilkinson (Moortown) 9-1 9-5 4-9 9-1.
Final: Lennox beat McMillan 10-8 9-5 5-9 9-3.
