Injury hit Stanley RAFA were at home to Pelton Fell on a rock-hard ground and it was the experience of the visitors that proved the deciding factor.

The Fell maintained their impressive run of results with a 6-3 win despite leaking goals to David Maughan, Lewis Carr Slones and Stephen Burdis.

Both Danny Bankhead and Ricky Stanton scored twice each for the Fell along with Derek Willis and Stephen Mullholland.

Low Fell Jolly Miller fought out a hard earned 4-4 draw at home to Pelton Crown Inn with red-hot John Robinson scoring a hat trick for the Miller along with Steven Venus. The Crown's goals came from Stephen Cameron (2), Lee Middlemiss and Darren Purvis.

There was another draw between Washington Oasis and Felling Mulberry who shared two goals. The Oasis' scorer was Nathan Varty, who was signed just before the game with Ian Pine replying.

Gateshead Black Bull are paying a hard price because of injuries and lost 4-1 at Stanley Masons Arms SC, who are at last putting a bit of a run together.

The Bull's consolation goal from Chris McGee with brothers Paul and Stephen Hutchinson, Ian McAllister and Lee Pinder on target for the Masons Arms SC.
